The May Street Teddy Webber Scholarship Dinner and Auction fundraiser is a festive school community and family event. This event is named in honor of Teddy Webber, a past May Street teacher who connected with his students and was adored by all here at May Street. The afternoon and evening will honor Teddy through food, art, activity, and community. These four things are what Teddy loved most about May Street.

Date: Thursday, April 10th 2025. 5:00 pm- 7:30 pm. Dinner will be served at 5:00 pm.

The May Street Skate Club hosts roller skating sessions at the May Street Elementary gym. The Club is a volunteer organization whose goal is to create a fun and safe environment for our kids.

Skate nights are Fridays in January and February from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM. Check this year’s calendar for specific days and times.

Cost: $3 per skater, $10 max per family

Skate rentals are included with the admission price.

Guests and visitors MUST have a signed release form from their parents or guardian.

Popcorn days are a fun activity and a nice fundraiser for the Student Council. Every Wednesday the school sells popcorn for $1.

May Street Movie Nights provide kids and their parents a chance to enjoy a movie on the big screen in the May St. gym for a small entrance fee. PTO sells popcorn and water, and parents can also drop-off kids and go out enjoy a date night too!

Date: Usually 3-4 movie nights throughout the year

May Street's annual Dragon Dash combines fitness, fun and fundraising in a whole school, one-day event. Building on the long tradition of Run for Fitness, a spring after-school running program, the Dragon Dash is a jog-a-thon type fundraiser in May. Students get pledges for laps, collect donations and win fun, experienced-based prizes.

The Dragon Dash proceeds fund the many varied PTO activities throughout the year, such as music and PE camps, teacher grant requests, and school assemblies.
