Teddy Webber Scholarship Dinner and Auction

The May Street Teddy Webber Scholarship Dinner and Auction fundraiser is a festive school community and family event. This event is named in honor of Teddy Webber, a past May Street teacher who connected with his students and was adored by all here at May Street. The afternoon and evening will honor Teddy through food, art, activity, and community. These four things are what Teddy loved most about May Street. 

100% of the proceeds from this event go directly back to the students and school. One way the PTO uses the funds from this event is to provide a scholarship for a graduating student who attended May Street Elementary. The PTO also provides art opportunities through the local Artist in Residence program for each student from event proceeds. Other ways we use funds raised by this event are by giving teacher and principal grants for important classroom and school items, enrichment assemblies, curriculum-based field trips, OBOB (Oregon Battle of Books), skate nights, and many other projects and activities throughout the school year. 

Teddy Webber Event General Information:

Date for 2025!: Thursday, April 10th 2025. 5:00 pm- 7:30 pm. Dinner will be served at 5:00 pm.

Location: May St. Elementary School.

Price: $ 6 per person. Dinner included.

Kids Activities: $1/ ticket. Face painting, cakewalks, hair chalk fun, tattoos, and more!

Auction: 5:00 pm- 7:30 pm.
